Adhesive ferrite magnetic tapes: Features and functionality

At supermagnete, we carry plastic and strontium ferrite products. Most of them are anisotropically magnetised. As a result, the magnetic adhesive tapes are very strong and have a higher adhesive force compared to other standard products. Another advantage is that two self-adhesive magnetic tapes which have been correctly combined adhere perfectly to each other. This helps to attach two non-magnetic objects to each other. This product gets its self-adhesive properties through the one-sided adhesive strip.
Select in our online shop from self-adhesive magnetic tape in various widths from 10 to 150 mm. The appropriate width depends on the size and weight of the objects that you want to attach. You can also get our magnetic adhesive tapes in different lengths. The more you order, the lower the price per metre.

Extremely strong: Neodymium magnetic adhesive tape

In our online shop, we also offer a neodymium magnetic adhesive tape with 3M adhesive. Its extreme strength and four times higher adhesive force than other ferrite products (450 g/cm²) are compelling. Self-adhesive magnetic tapes made of neodymium are therefore especially suitable for challenging mounting solutions. In order to meet high expectations, they are furnished with the high-quality 3M adhesive, which ensures that the self-adhesive magnetic tape securely sticks even to heavy objects.

Versatile application possibilities

If you want to attach something quickly and flexibly to metal surfaces, magnetic adhesive tapes (also known as self-adhesive magnetic strips) are very helpful. As if by magic they can hold objects on a fridge or metal shelf, for instance. And you can remove them without residue whenever you like. Do you need even more flexibility? Then paint walls, furniture and other surfaces with magnetic paint. Stick self-adhesive magnetic tape to the back of signs, markers and other objects and attach them to the magnetic surface to suit your needs. It's just as easy to move them around or remove them entirely.
You can also stick the magnetic adhesive tape to the back of decorative objects (e.g. coloured wooden strips) and thus create your own magnets.

• Attach a fly screen:
  Just attach self-adhesive magnetic tape to the frame of a fly screen and the door or window. The magnetic tapes stick to each other, which allows for quick mounting without drilling any holes. • Mood board in the office:
  If you need to be creative at work, it may help to visualise things. Use magnetic adhesive tape for brainstorming. You can attach things to your whiteboard or magnetic board and quickly move them around as needed. In a design studio this may be material samples; at an interior designer it could be miniature furniture.


• Individual wall design in the children's room:
  Children like to paint and almost daily create their own pieces of art. You can use magnetic adhesive tape in a dispenser to quickly hang those up without damaging the painting. This works best on a wall that is painted with magnetic paint, so you can easily hang up, rearrange, and remove paintings, drawings, etc.


• Crafting decorative magnets
  You can make great decorative magnets with self-adhesive magnetic tape and some paper. To do this, print or draw the desired motif on paper and cut it out. The motifs are then applied to the adhesive side of the magnetic tape and cut out.
